Punta Cana Recap

Hi guys, I just wanted to post a quick Punta Cana diaries. A lot of photos I took there were outfit photos, but I wanted to do a quick post telling you how our stay was. We booked through a travel company called Vacation Express; which was extremely helpful! We talked to an associate who gave us three different all inclusive options for our budget. We ended up choosing the IFA Villas Bavaro Resort and Spa. The resort was huge and had different entertainment each night so there was never a dull moment. It was definitely geared towards young adults, but there were tons of families there. I didn’t enjoy the food as much as I thought I would, but the never-ending Banana Mama’s and Miami Vice’s didn’t disappoint. The beach was beautiful and the sun was really harsh as expected. I came back the darkest I’ve ever been! I would recommend visiting Punta Cana to anyone if they haven’t been before, but for my next vacation I would probably stick more towards the Bahamas or an island closer to Caribbean waters. (We were on the Atlantic side.)

Feel free to ask me any questions if you are considering visiting the Dominican Republic! Shoot me an email at lalavied@gmail.com!

Rose’ all Day

LALA_6.1.15_029Today I have on my typical suit as always. You know me always dressing up for a day’s work. Just kidding but really, come this Monday I will be wearing nothing but dresses, skirts, and pant suits for the new job! I feel mixed emotions as I am super excited to start being a working woman but sad to say goodbye to everyday grunge and loungewear I claim as my “style.” It was nice knowing you ripped boyfriend jeans. Stay tuned on my instagram: @lalavied and snapchat: @lalavied to see how my first day goes!

A little boho

LALA_6.1.15_003I feel like I’m channeling my inner boho, western, grecian self in today’s outfit post. I completely made that up, but you see what I mean pairing such different styles all into one. I like to combine unexpected pairings into one fantastic outfit. Fantastic, in my opinion! This bag, by Hide and Hunter, I feel does the same. It pairs suede and leather for a raw, authentic look while combining leopard and fringe. How amazing! All these bags are truly one of a kinds like this custom made one I styled. Zig Zag One Piece Swim

IMG_2554Before last season, I always thought one pieces were for mom’s or older women. Child/teen me didn’t think I could pull off a one piece swimsuit because of my age. Boy was I wrong! Now, I feel one piece swimsuits make me feel sexier and accentuate my curves more than two pieces, and they are more comfortable because I am not constantly sucking in! I know swimsuit season can be challenging for most women battling their self-image, but don’t be afraid to try new styles. One pieces like this Baku style from Swimwear Galore would look great on any body shape! And the back has a really low cut so it still shows some skin. I also like the high neck because as I mentioned in my recent spread for Face Magazine, high neck swimsuits are so in right now! Get yours today and be on top of the game! I linked the swimsuit and sunglasses from Swimwear Galore below!IMG_0571 IMG_3807 IMG_2692 IMG_3805 IMG_2531 IMG_0549 IMG_3806Swimsuit: Baku via Swimwear Galore c/o, Sunglasses: Seafolly via Swimwear Galore c/o, Hand chain: Elizabeth Irvine Jewelry c/o

Floral Wide Leg Pants

LALA_4.27.15_019These pants are the most comfortable you will find that are still work appropriate. I could practically sleep in them as pajamas! I styled a simple look with the white tee, but they can also be dressed up for a night look with a blouse!LALA_4.27.15_015 LALA_4.27.15_021 LALA_4.27.15_011 LALA_4.27.15_016 LALA_4.27.15_018Top and Pants: Posh Boutique, Necklace: Mary P Lamb Designs
